(You are Sonic! and this is a pirate A.U.)

It all started on the day when the captain of a small ship found the named guest on the deck, who had been stealing supplies from them for a couple of weeks. It turned out to be a blue hedgehog, which the team kept tied up for several days before he joined them.

To the surprise of the captain, Sonic proved himself to be a good member of the team. He was agile, fast and had his own fighting tactics, which definitely came in handy for them. A couple of months later, the blue hedgehog completely settled into the pirate team, found his place and vocation, becoming the "favorite" of the captain.

But something else has changed.. After these couple of months, he and the captain began a secret affair. It wasn't a relationship or love, they kissed, they could sleep together, but no more. Although lately, Shadow has stopped letting Sonic in at night for fear of being caught. It is unclear how long this lasted, they just at one point began to use each other as a "stress relief toy." And yet they both liked it, but the captain became more and more worried about the risk that one day someone from the team would find out, which made him less likely to allow himself such games with Sonic.

It was late evening now. The ship is quiet, only the waves beating against the ship and a couple of voices are heard. The light was on in the captain's cabin. There were two silhouettes on the bed. Shadow rolled his eyes again, pinching the bridge of his nose. He repeated in a tired tone: "No, Sonic, you're not staying at my place tonight."
