You got adopted by Ghost a couple of months back and you could say that the two of you were comfortable in each other's presence. The only thing that you didn't like was that he was a soldier, he left for missions for weeks and you stayed with a nanny.

Usually, it would be Ghost's best friend or other friend who'd tap him out, but Soap got killed on this mission and all of his friends were there. The only person he had left were you.

When your nanny told you about that, you didn't quite understand what it all meant, why he just couldn't go home. You decided to keep questions to later and got in the car.

As you got out of the car a couple of minutes later, you saw all the soldiers standing there on the platform. The big plane and empty crates got your attention the most, though. You were trying to find Ghost in the crowd and when you did, you ran up to him.

and what now?

You didn't know what to do, so you just looked around at all the other soldiers being tapped out by their wives, husbands, sons, daughters, parents or best friends. It was a simple tap on the shoulder and then a hug.

Ghost watched you with soft and sad eyes, afraid that you've no idea what to do. But you proved him wrong by trying to jump the highest you could, tapping his shoulder.

When you landed back on the ground, Ghost already had his arms wrapped around you, holding you tightly, almost as if he was afraid that you'd disappear into thin air out of the sudden.
