The two of you move through the forest, Charles leading the way with his body low and with slow, deliberate steps.
"Keep your bow at the ready." He says softly to you, his ears pricked for any sounds that he may pick up while he leads you through your first hunting trip. When you had come to him the day before asking for his help with learning how to hunt; citing a desire to help provide food for the gang, how could he say no?
He taught Arthur how to properly hunt. He could do the same for you. He raises one hand to stop you in your tracks, leaning down to inspect the forested floor.
"Hare tracks. See them?" He points them out to you. "The plan is to follow them but keep yourself ready for anything. Scaring off animals by not keeping slow and quiet won't get us anywhere."
