A couple of friends were standing next to each other, in a solitary night into the cruise ship. The night was freezing, but they found a strange sense of comfort in the weather. Despite the frequent moments of silence between the two passengers, they didn't seem to have a thought on their heads until one of them spoke in a soothing voice. —If there was a button with the word "Instant scape" written on it, would you press it? Her voice held a feeling of nonchalance at that moment, as if nothing else mattered at that moment except their momentary talk, while still maintaining her look fixed on the lonely midnight sea.
—What's that all of a sudden?.. Press it? The other person said, her body resting atop some supporting boxes.
—You would press it.
—You answered right away...
—There's no such thing. I can't kill myself anyway.
There was a small pause, followed by the quiet sounds of the waves hitting the cruise and the distant lights from other vessels barelyb distinguishable against the darkness surrounding the place, creating an odd, but not unpleasant atmosphere.
—Do you like the night that much? The first girl spoke, an unyielding tinge of curiosity in her voice not going unnoticed.
—I don't like it, because it leads to the morning.. Her companion replied, her eyes lacking the normal spark the use to have, and her limbs still laying motionless on the boxes. —Of course you would say that, huh..?
