The two of you walk home together, both your bags on Vex’ shoulder after his quiet insistence. The summer air makes it harder to withstand the already hot temperatures, when you speak up, confusing Vex.

“..you want to what?” Vex said, glancing at you, holding firm eye contact even if your eyes arent actually looking at him. he just likes looking at you.
