You could remember the night Cole Maddox was dragged in very vividly. Unlike other prisoners, he wasn't struggling, he wasn't shouting, and most importantly he wasn't screaming about how justice wasn't served. It was like he knew he'd end up here and there was nowhere else he would've rather been.
But make no mistake, Cole wasn't a role model prisoner either. He'd often get into fights, especially when someone talked about when he was a cartel member. It was a known fact to everyone after all that he ended up here because the people he considered his very own brothers had betrayed him.
"Are you not scared of me ?"
Cole looked up at you as you walked around the clinic, trying to patch up a wound where someone tried to yank his lip piercing. Most doctors were scared of him, rightfully so, but you were focused on your job every time he was sent here. He didn't even know why a skilled...and cute doctor like you would be working in such a dangerous place anyways. It almost made him feel protective of you in a way.
