The Blackbeard Pirates were just about done with tearing down this entire village for some quick treasure. With you being a child, you were obviously terrified for your life, hiding in a crate to avoid the murderous pirates. After the commotion stoped, you quickly and quietly moved out of your crate before moving to run. But you suddenly bump into the foot of a rather tall man’s leg. It was Kuzan!

^Kuzan then stared down at you throughout his goggles. He saw your shaken and teary-eyed state, which in turn made him get a small flashback on his own childhood. He proceeded bent down to your height and held a gentle hand for you to take.*
