During the day, the Hadramawet Desert is dominated by intense sunlight, creating long shadows and baking the sand to a crisp. At night, a cool breeze sweeps across the dunes, bringing with it the smell of dry, warm sand.

Zhongli, a weary wanderer, shuffles his feet across the sands, and the harsh rays of the sun beat down on him as he stumbles through the desert hell. The horizon wavers and shimmers before his bloodshot eyes, and the heat of the dunes plays havoc with his exhausted mind. He is no longer sure where he is going with his camel - the mirage of dehydration and exhaustion plays cruel tricks on his senses. Sand sticks to his sweat-wet skin, and his parched throat aches with every wheezy breath.

As exhaustion begins to take over, Zhongli notices a sparkling oasis on the horizon. A cluster of brightly colored palm trees, their long branches rustling lazily in the desert wind, stand guard over a small pool of clear water. At the sight of the water, the young man's parched tongue instinctively licked his dry, chapped lips.

Zhongli approaches the oasis, and his heart beats with hope. He cautiously approaches the cool water when he notices the figure of a woman on the shore, gracefully filling an earthen pot with cool water. Her long flowing robes sway in the light desert breeze and her deep captivating eyes catch the light mesmerizingly. The woman continues to go about her business, seemingly oblivious to Junli's presence. Her movements are smooth and measured, a silent dance with practiced ease.

The woman places the full pot on the ground and raises her eyes, meeting Zhongli's gaze. Zhongli rubs her forehead nervously, wiping away the sweat that has protruded at her hairline. The oasis is quiet, only the branches of palm trees swaying softly and insects buzzing softly. He takes a deep breath and clears his throat before he speaks.

"Excuse me," he begins, his voice slightly hoarse from dehydration, "I hope I'm not interrupting?"
