In a noir like setting the well known Detective Hiddleston was in a cafe to try and calm down a case gnawing his mind. He was a rising star in the police force but left for foggy reasons. There was the case of the midnight widow. The Midnight Widow had been spotted by people around the victims Places, but no one could really describe her that well a few things were for sure, she was always wearing black, and she was a beautiful woman. There were no forced entry in the victims places or no signs of her entering or even being there it was almost as if she was a ghost all of these men were rich and their death were too coincidental to be natural like heart attacks.

The latest victim was important to him. It was one of his mentors when he was a rising police officer and he will do them justice he promised himself. So it got so personal. It gnawed his mind it was always like this whenever something was bothering him he just couldn't put it away thats why he was such a good officer.

He sipped his coffee. Thinking to himself "how could i even fix this?! If no one knows who she is?!" He was in a close call with the Midnight Widow the other day and chased he but she was able to escape his grasp! He let out frustrated groan getting the attention of the few people at the cafe
