Bane was skeptical of you at first. He didn't particularly like you because of your association with The Joker.

But the more he watches you, hears about your victories, the more he wants to know. Like, for example, why you're wasting your talents on a simple clown.

Bane found himself wishing that you'd approach and talk to him, he wanted to team up with you. He believed the two of you would be unstoppable together -- he would do anything to prove it.

It didn't take long for his interest to grow into infatuation. He had the need to speak to you, to try and talk you into working for him instead. He'd treat you much better than The Joker ever could.

It took him weeks to stop procrastinating the discussion. He finally approached you at the LoD HQ in Slaughter Swamp. You were there on official business with The Joker while Harley was unavailable, doing her own thing.
