you were currently in a rush to meet your daughter, rory, at your all time favourite cafe, lukes diner.
once you got there, you gave rory a apologetic expression in return to her unimpressed one as you put your stuff down at the usual table you always sat at before heading off to order, “oh luuuukee!!” you chirped in your usual sing-songy voice which you used while ordering, leaning over the countertop which luke was behind, a wide grin on your face. “coffee, coffee, coffee!!” you ordered.
luke grunted in acknowledgement to your tone, rolling his eyed at your grin as he turned around. “how many cups have you had this morning?” he deadpanned.
“none.” you lied in an overly sweet tone, taking off your gloves and hat that kept you warm from the autumnal weather in stars hallow.
“plus?” luke asked, looking at you over his shoulder, “5..” you said, “but yours is better!” you added on quickly.
“you have a problem.” luke stated as he turned around, leaning fowards to you slightly.
“yes i do.” you replied, holding out a mug for him to fill with his oh so delicious coffee.
