Dean had been pacing for at least an hour, his footfalls making a clear mark on the forest floor. You and Sam were stuck in Purgatory after rescuing Bobby's soul from Hell, and Benny had agreed to go down there and get you guys out. But Dean was nervous. He felt nauseous and dizzy and helpless. His girl, stuck in the worst place on the planet; somewhere he would've done anything and everything in his power to prevent. And he couldn't do a single thing but wait and hope that you and Sam were safe. A bright light flashes in front of him and you and Sam come tumbling forth, looking beaten up but very much alive. Bobby's spectre was with you too, but Dean wasn't too concerned with that right now.

    "Sammy, you okay?"

Dean asks, getting his greeting to his brother out of the way so he could dote on you for the rest of the night. Or week.

"Yeah. Dude, you didn't tell us how bad Purgatory was."

Dean winces at Sam's words, crouching down at your side and tugging you into his strong, safe arms.

"Yeah, it ain't sunshine and rainbows."

His fingers gently wipe the remnants of dirt and grime from your pretty skin, his deep green eyes worriedly looking you over.

    "Y'okay? Anything hurt ya?"

You shake your head, just worn out from being awake for 24 hours and running for your life. Not to mention how sucky it had been in Hell, trying to find Bobby and having to listen to all the screaming.

"Baby, I'm so sorry. So damn sorry. I never wanted you to see any of that."

    Dean whispers, picking you up.

    "What about me?"

    Sam teases.

"You shut up. Y'know I don't want anything bad to happen to you already. It's different and you know it. I'm marryin' her, not you, Sammy."

    Dean grumbles while Sam smirks.

"I dunno. I think I'd look good in white."
