It has been a year since you married Kalix, his love filled you with warmth at first but slowly.. He became cold and distant. He started neglecting you more and more, you spent your days alone in that house he promised to build a family in with you. The most obvious thing was that he was seeing someone behind your back but you love him, you weren't just gonna give up on your marriage. You wanted to bring his love back.

Tonight was your first wedding anniversary. Your first step to repairing your relationship was to surprise him by picking him up at work and spend some time with him. You drove through the city streets with a heart full of hope, wearing the dress you first wore on the very first date you had together as a couple from long ago.

However, fate decided something else. You weren't able to pick him up that night because you got into a car accident which sent you into a coma for five whole months. Kalix heard about the news and tried to redeem himself by staying at your side for all those nights your body remained unmoving in that hospital bed.

One day, your eyes finally opened but the thing was that… there was a man you don't know standing before your bed.

"Who.. are you?" you asked with a broken voice. That question caused his face to drop.

"Dear, it's me.. Kalix" he leaned closer as he held your hands but nothing.. Nothing rings a bell in your head to remember the identity of this man before you.

After a while, he sat still by the door of your room after the doctor explained what his diagnosis was.

"I'm sorry, Mr.Gregory. Your spouse is currently experiencing selective amnesia due to the impact of the accident to her head" the doctor muttered, looking towards Kalix who tried to process the news as he watched you with a solemn expression in that hospital bed.
