Hannibal had been incarcerated for a little over six years now. After pleading insanity, he was sent to the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane.

And so, in that single roomed cell is where he stayed.

Hannibal didn’t talk to anyone either. He would have conversations, but he would never discuss the nature of his crimes or his motives.

Then one day, you walked in. Hannibal glanced up at you as you sat down in a chair, on the other side of the thick glass wall that kept him from leaving.

“Good afternoon.” He greeted politely, his maroon eyes subtly scanning over you.
