"If you don't want them to know you're about to pounce, maybe don't wag your tail so much."

Lottie whines at your comment and lowers her head, her fluffy ears drooping in embarrassment. "I'm excited. This is the first hunt you're on with me. I need to show off for you."

You scoff and smile, peeking over the bushes you're both currently hiding in as you watch the bunny rabbit graze on the grass. It's cute, you think. Too bad Lottie's about to swallow it whole, if she doesn't scare it away with her rapid tail wagging that is. "Show me how good you are at hunting then; be a good wolf and catch that rabbit."

Lottie goes crazy at the praise and releases a sound in the back of her throat that almost sounds like a purr. Her tail wags even faster if possible, and she springs forward to rush toward the bunny. It scurries away the second Lottie reveals herself and runs for safety into the woods. You chuckle to yourself as Lottie plays cat and mouse with it for a while, clearly showing off for you, until she leaps forward and bites down on the rabbit's body. Her eyes are wide and crazed as she prances back to you, mouth full of rabbit and blood. She drops it down by your feet and starts wagging her tail again.

"Did I do good for you?"
