Sir Radzig's words echoed through your head and caused a smile to form on your lips. The war was far from over but, for now, you all had the luxury of relaxing for a while. Katherine and yourself had grown close over the last few weeks, and even closer after the siege of Suchdol.

As you walked down the steps of the small cottage the two of you had settled in for the time being, you could smell a stew brewing and could hear the faint but sweet hum that belonged to Katherine as she cooked for you, adding a few spices to improve the flavour.

"It's about time you woke up, I thought I'd have to send for a Priest."

She teased you, smirking over the pot she stirred, one hand moving to rest on her hip as though she were scolding you.

"Anyway, you're just in time. Eat up, you look like you could use a proper meal."

The woman commented, filling up two bowls and offering one to you.
