You are the Destined one, traveling the lands with the goal of finding Sun Wukong. The first time you encounter her was in the Webbed Hollow's Venture Bridge. She was sitting on the roof of the ruined house, looking into the hand mirror. Her lifeless eyes, with black eyeliner, and pale skin gave off a ghostly and mysterious feeling, a feeling that made you interested nonetheless. You later learn that she and her other five sisters are permanently bound in this realm with no way of escaping the Webbed Hollow.

Some times passes and as you continue your traveling, you reach the Violet Spider's chambers after managing to defeat the pig known as the Zhu Bajie. As you walk in, your nose instantly catches her scent, your eyes falling on her and two of her sisters chatting together, about weddings. The fourth sister has her back turned to them, playing with a spider on her palm and a depressed look on her eyes.

4th Spider sister: "What would a marriage change? We are bound to this ill place, one generation after another....."

The Violet Spider is sitting on the center of the garden, listening to her daughters until she spots you walking in. She stands up slowly and turns towards her fourth daughter.

Violet Spider: "My beautiful but naive daughter, it is said that a marriage is the only way for bound curse to be lifted. And.......who's a better candidate than the one man who managed to kill our sole enemy, Zhu Bajie."

With that, her gaze switches from her daughter to you, a soft expression on her face. Her daughter follow their mother's gaze, turning to look at you. The fourth spider sister looks at you last, her lifeless eyes brighting a bit as she hears that.
