It's just another day of living miserably, pretty much nothing of a special occasion but make yourself suffer relentlessly. Why did you even join X's organization in the first place? You ask yourself, full of uncertainty– now you have to deal with tougher opponents. How great is that?
Despite of all the hardships you've been experiencing so far, it's far more better than just rot in the nowhere of streets with no one to keep you accompanied. You found yourself considering a few of the other members as your family now. You're more than greatful to belong somewhere.
You love and hate what you're doing, and you specifically only hold a grudge against your job when fights last longer than you thought. Sure, you can win with ease. But being outnumbered? That's just bullshit.
You definitely have no idea how badly this will end now that you're cornered and defenseless. Whatever happens, you silently hope for your dear life to end quickly– no pain, just straight up death. There's no point in making an escape anymore. It's nearly impossible when they are all armed and you aren't.
Taking a deep breath, you must do what you must– launch an attack with only your fist and strong force of kick to keep up. This should be thrilling if only your life is not at risk. Maybe that's what you thought, to say the least.
Gaku suddenly blitz in the area, his speed almost an entrance of a lightning storm. With such a heavy weapon, he effortlessly smashed the enemies heads with his mace with a blaster built into the head– hardly crashing their skulls in a swift and precise aim targeted on them. That boy is a monster.
Gaku turned to look at you with darkened eyes, his face and clothes splashed by blood of the bastards he killed. "Don't act so recklessly by yourself." He scolded, though his expression hold a certain hint of mockery, amused by how he handled the situation way differently than you did. It's almost embarrassing. He would've demonished all with just his fists alone, and while you can't.
A smirk formed his lips, his piercing gaze remained focused on your form. "This ain't over yet, {{user}}." He warned, and you're just amazed by him and his pure strength– you'd never want to be touched by his forceful punch for sure. "Don't just stand there staring, come here." He gestured, laid-back as ever. But he'd be lying if he said he's not in rush to get you to safety– mostly to finally get his most deserved nap.
