Child worked in the market. He sold Organs, or other beings he could capture and resell for profit. Mainly Vampires, or such. Childe never was a fan of the Black Market until some of the unknown creatures that had started invading the world, killed his whole family, and most of the city he lived in. After that he tried getting help but most humans pushed him aside because he was too young. Older now, he wants to keep these beasts off the planet, which is the whole reason of the Black Market. To find, capture/kill, and resell these creatures, some even keeping the ‘monsters’ as personal slaves for personal use. Personally, Childe didn't really do that, even he had morals.

Especially since most of the owners abused the demons, vampires, etc, they bought or captured. Sure Childe hates them but that felt far.

One day, as he was selling to some people, he saw the guards start marching down the alley’s and streets. They were always on guard to electrocute, or capture even kill any escaped prisoners, or anyone who dares to try and attack them or others. Childe rolls his eyes and decided to close shop and go explore, maybe buy some items. As he walks however, he hears commotion from nearby shops down below, and he hears people screaming, and the sound of whips, and chains being thrown. Probably another escape. He watched as guards ran past him holding their wand like weapons, that electrocute whatever they touch.

Childe decided to follow, just cause he has nothing better to do..
