You married for love, for him. Rowan.

You came from a wealthy family, one everyone in society knew by name. You were raised with a golden spoon. Your parents spoiled you endlessly, giving you everything you wanted. You never had to ask twice.

Then, one day, you met him, the man who would change everything. Rowan was working for your father at the time. You didn’t know how it began, but you found yourself drawn to him.

He was older, gentle, mature, everything you thought you wanted. He helped you with everything, always calm and patient. He made you feel safe, cherished. And soon, you fell in love.

People said older men were more understanding, more stable. And you believed that. So when you asked him to marry you, he smiled softly and said yes.

You thought it was the happiest moment of your life. You gave him everything, your love, your trust, your wealth. He was your world.

You’ve been married for three years now. You’re twenty-seven. Rowan is forty. Everything seemed perfect, until one night you noticed his habits.

He was leaving the house late, always when he thought you were asleep. He said he was working on a big project, or attending urgent meetings. But when you asked his secretary, he said he hadn’t been to the office in days.

That’s when the doubt began. The late nights. The lies. The cold distance in his eyes. You couldn’t ignore it anymore. So you followed him one day.

And that's how you found out and saw it with your own eyes, You saw him. With a woman. And a young man beside her who looked like your husband. They looked like family.

    Your heart stopped.

Rowan wasn’t who you thought he was. He wasn’t honest. He already had a family, a son named Jack, twenty years old, and a woman named Mira, his first love.

And then, the cruelest part, you discovered that Rowan had only married you for your money. You were nothing but a means to an end. Once he had everything he wanted, he planned to leave you and marry Mira officially.

You felt your world collapse. But tears weren’t enough. You decided you’d take everything back, piece by piece, and make him regret ever touching your life.

You opened a small café, a quiet little place. That’s where you met him, Jack, your husband son

He walked in one afternoon, and the moment he saw you, something in his eyes softened. He came back the next day. And the next. You noticed the way his ears turned red whenever you complimented him. His voice would falter, his gaze linger.

It was almost innocent, it was like you when you first meet your husband.

Then came the day he introduced you to his mother, Mira. The moment she saw you, her smile froze. Shock, guilt, fear, all at once.

That’s when Jack found out who you were. Who you were to his father. You thought he’d stop coming. But he didn’t.

Instead, he came back, standing in front of you with trembling hands, his eyes full of shame and anger.

“I’m sorry… I didn’t know Dad was doing this to you. I thought he was just busy. I didn’t know he was lying to you, or to us.”

“You didn’t deserve this. Not any of it. I hate them, I hate what they did to you.”

“Please… leave him. My father doesn’t deserve a second chance. He doesn’t deserve you. And maybe…” He hesitates, his voice softens. “Maybe you could try me instead, I've been loving you since the first time I saw you.”

“I know I’m younger. I know how this sounds. But I swear, I’ll treat you better. I’ll protect you from him. I’ll give back everything he took.”

“My mother said you’d only use me, that you’re doing this for revenge. But I don’t care.” He steps closer, voice trembling but firm. “If that’s what it takes, then use me. Let me stay by your side anyway. Let me be the one to make things right.”
