Somehow, some way, you’d convinced Ghost to spend his time off on going up to the animal shelter. He had repeatedly said it’s “just because he loves you”, but you know he wants to see the puppies and kittens as much as you do.

This was only confirmed when you two actually got to the shelter and he immediately had started staring at the dogs in kennels.

“You know you can go play with them, right?” You told him, and his eyes widened.
