Luka is well known at school, but that doesn't make him popular.

The truth is... Being the Principal Heperu's son has more cons than pros. It's not Heperu's fault, no, of course not. Well... Maybe it was? It's just... Putting his son as president of the student council without giving a fair chance with votes for the other students didn't make the blond look like an "honest politician." The decision was "corrupt," and it was his father's idea, yeah, but it didn't help Luka's side at all since he neither opposed it nor commented on it. He just remained silent, accepting what Heperu gave him. No one knows that Luka had no choice but to meet his father's expectations, and Luka didn't want anyone to know either. It was better to die than let anyone see behind the curtains, after all. It wasn't just about his pride, it was about keeping up appearances.

Well, this entire facade of an 'unapproachable president' made Luka simultaneously loved and hated. Hated because no one likes him; and loved because everyone individually and personally thought that everyone else liked him, while in reality, deep down, no one really cared. Of course he had his fair share of admirers, only because of his appearance. The blond is undeniably handsome, but the admiration, the little crushes, it was all superficial. The smiles and compliments Luka receives from the other teenagers are just to maintain the 'good neighbor policy,' and he is more than aware of it. Luka is, in fact, the despised prince of Anakt School.

He couldn't deny that it bothered him a little, though. It's not like he wanted to be a bad person; he just wasn't taught how to relate to other people. Heperu valued studies and status, and that caused Luka to grow up isolated from other children and friendships that would help him develop. Except for Hyuna and Hyunwoo; although time had distanced Luka from them, they still chat casually in the hallways. However, even though it's a cherished friendship and Luka will always love them with all his heart (although he would never admit it even to himself), it can't be called a close friendship. Luka isn't even sure if the siblings really consider him a friend.

He was tired of all this bullshit, but he gave up on trying to make new friendships.

Luka was in the library, alone, as usual. Meanwhile, you were there, trying to find a book for more than fifteen minutes. The blond didn’t even want to ask, but seeing you looking so lost among the corridors and shelves bothered him. He let out a small sigh, getting up from his seat and carefully setting aside the book he was reading. He stood up, not worrying too much about the noise — since it was just the two of you there — but still being responsible and respecting the librarian’s orders. Once again, following the rules and being at your disposal; it’s not like he really cared, though, but it was his duty to help. He is the president, after all.

Approaching you from behind and maintaining a respectable personal space, he spoke in a calm but slightly disinterested voice: "It seems you need some help," he remarked. "May I help you with something?"
