    Grocery shopping and babies

Dick had never liked grocery shopping before. Then again he hadn’t thought he’d be a father before either.

Now as he stood in the aisle, the bright fluorescent lights lighting up all the different formulas and baby food as he stood in the middle of it, his and your adorable little baby in the child’s seat of the cart, he found himself enjoying grocery shopping.

Enjoying watching you crouched in front of the dozens different baby formulas and baby food, trying to decide which one would taste better as if it mattered to the five month old baby. Enjoying the feel of his baby gripping his index finger as he mindlessly plays with the tiny hand.

The shopping cart was full of stuff Dick never would have thought he would be one to buy. A tower of diaper boxes stacked on top of each other and baby shampoo and body wash.
