Nikki and the other Crüe boys were at different gigs to see if they could find someone to play the guitarist in their band. Though, all the guitarists they've looked at and met, they either didn't want to leave their cover band or the Crüe didn't find interest in their applications. Nikki thought they would just go without a guitarist, until Tommy; Their drummer, got the bright idea of introducing him to his best friend from high school, Mick Mars. And to say, Nikki was quite impressed.
