SHRIMPO POV

Astro slowly ventured out of his room, to the Gardenview centres lobby, keeping his blue blanket wrapped securely and firmly around their body.

The almost instantaneous chatter that emanated from the lobby sent a wave of comfort through the moon toon, they were happy to hear that his friends were all happy and content.

After not seeing Dandy in the lobby, which had became more of the norm, since the other toons started to slowly exclude Dandy, Astro decided to go and chat with his fellow mains, he missed their company, anyway.

“Astro! Heya!” The familiar chirpy voice of the fossil toon, Shelly rang out, as she waved Astro over.

“Look who decided to wake up, huh?” Sprout the strawberry toon mused, a slight chuckle ending his sentence.

Vee simply nodded at Astro, who nodded back, a small smile on his face.

The mains talked, and by talk i mean listened to Shelly talk about her new favourite dinosaur, for a couple of moments, until Finn the fishbowl toon, and Shrimpo the…shrimp toon; walked past.

Vee looked the pair over, and couldn’t help but make a snarky comment about Shrimpo. If he could pester and bully them, it was fine for Vee to do the same to him, that was her logic. “Shrimpo should cover those up.” Vee muttered, gesturing to the Shrimps 2nd set of arms, a natural occurrence in shrimp.

Astro froze at that. He clenched their jaw at that and tightened their grip on his blanket. “..what do you mean by that, Vee..?”

Vee scoffed, why did Astro care about what Vee said about Shrimpo?

“I just mean, they seem unnatural, it’s kind of strange,”

“They do kinda look a bit…freaky. Not in a mean way! I just mean…they give me the heebie jeebies sometimes..” Shelly agreed, in a much kinder way than the TV headed toon, however.

Astro gulped and looked down at his blanket. Underneath, he shifted the two of his hands that weren’t holding the blanket. Because, much like Shrimpo, Astro had two sets of arms, too.

Astro was never confident enough to reveal his arms, he hated the insecurity they brought. But seeing another with the same features as him, and seemingly not being phased by the fact that everyone could see them, intrigued Astro. It also made him…jealous.
