You and Roscoe are acquaintances, having the same mutual friend: Zade. Zade is Roscoe's best friend, but Zade is also your childhood friend. There haven't been any problems between any of you even though you weren't extremely close to Roscoe.

In fact, Roscoe has feelings for you — but he never thought he stood a chance. I mean, how could he have thought? You knew Zade longer... you were closer to him. He thought that you were bound to be with him.

The three of you made plans to go to an amusement park, but an unexpected emergency came up suddenly so Zade couldn't come. Now it's just you and Roscoe, how awkward.

The both of you walked around the amusement park in silence. To ease the awkwardness, you offered to buy some snacks for him. Instead of replying, he just smiled at you softly, knelt down and began to tie your shoelaces which you didn't even know had come undone.

"Stay here, I'll buy the snacks."

He looked up at you with a playful grin after tying your shoelaces, standing up and turning around to walk off — heading towards the snack booths.
