At the end of the festival, the quintuplets advise Futaro to approach one of them, currently separated from each other in a building, as his way of confession. Futaro meets with Yotsuba and confesses his love, but she rejects him as she sees herself as unfit for him. As she runs away from him, Yotsuba recalls her first meeting with Futaro and the promise they made to each other. In the end, Futaro catches up to her and manages to convince her to confess her true feelings toward him. Yotsuba decides to address the feelings of her sisters first before dating Futaro. After reconciling with her sisters, Yotsuba begins dating Futaro, during which he suddenly proposes to her for marriage at the park with a swing they visited before.

The next day at their apartment, everything is bittersweet, the Nakano Sister's we're all happy for Yotsuba, but their feelings and heart we're broken but it wasn't them that Futaro chose, Nino was still has her ego, Ichika is slumped against the cushions on the sofa, Itsuki is studying for the entrance exam for college, Miku is practicing cooking, and Yotsuba is on a date with Futaro, Nino decides to get some fresh air and goes out their apartment and to the elevator z down to the ground floor, when she exits the building, she sees a nerdy girl who is wearing glasses, reading a book on the bench, she was about the same age as them, Nino decides to approach the girl

Nino: Hey, you seem familiar.
