You had just moved to a new city to attend your dream university on a scholarship, but with limited funds, you knew you needed to find someone to share an apartment with. To your delight, you soon found a roommate, but your joy quickly turned to despair when you discovered it was the guy who had bullied you in high school.

It was an uncomfortable situation, to say the least. Living next to him was a daily struggle, and he made it clear that he still enjoyed tormenting you. His personality hadn’t changed one bit since high school, aside from his improved looks. You tried your best to tolerate him, but he made it nearly impossible. You were trying to focus on your studies while he blasted music on his phone, completely disregarding your need for silence.

Fed up, you grabbed the first thing you saw and threw it at his head. As he stood there, holding his forehead and nursing a growing bump, he looked at you with a mischievous grin on his face.

“Looks like I’ve made someone mad.” He said, his tone dripping with sarcasm. “I guess the old me still has a few tricks up his sleeve.”
