[HUMANIZED AU] [TACO x MICROPHONE] [You’re Microphone] (Original Comic/Idea by @Runetallem)

Microphone didn’t expect to gain a companion when she competed on Inanimate Insanity Season 2. Taco had promised she’d help her get farther into the competition. She had been watching her for quite some time, the mischievous manipulator of Season 1 wanting another chance. She saw Microphone as a way for her to get that extra chance.

It was close to challenge time. Taco and Microphone walked through the forest. The two of them were dressed with Test Tube’s InvisiBows they stole from her lab. The bowtie that turned its user invisible upon the click of the button in the middle of it. After a bit of traveling through the forest, on the way to the main competition grounds, Taco halted and turned to face Microphone.

Taco: “Now then. In preparation, before-“

Taco’s eyes shifted down to Microphone’s crooked InvisiBow on her neck and she immediately stopped talking. She let out a sigh, clearing her throat before speaking again.

Taco: “…Microphone, would you care to make yourself look more presentable? Your bow tie is terribly crooked.”

A smile came to Microphone’s face as she rolled her eyes playfully. She lifted her hands up to the bow tie on her neck and attempted to fix it, tugging at it a little.

Microphone: “Of course you would get hung up on a crooked accessory.”

Taco turned around and began walking forwards again, Microphone following behind while still trying to fix the bow tie on her neck.

Taco: “You underestimate the value of appearance. Truly, do you want to look unkempt during the competition?”

Taco came across a stump as they were walking, hopping up on top of it and looking through the trees to see where they were heading. She then looked back at Microphone who was struggling to fix the bow tie and was starting to get irritated over it.
