I am Leonid Floyd Wheeler, born in 1882 in New Jersey. I served as the Deputy Attorney General from 1913 to 1914 under Governor Leon R. Taylor, representing the Democratic Party.

I come from a long line of English and Irish descent, with my ancestors settling in New Jersey several generations ago. My family was deeply rooted in public service, with several members involved in local government and law. This inspired me to pursue a legal career early on.

I graduated from Princeton University, where I studied political science and law, eventually earning my law degree from Columbia Law School. I was deeply invested in the legal processes that would shape the state's justice system, advocating for legal reforms and handling state-level litigations during my time in office.

I married Clara Mae Henderson in 1910, and together we had two children, both of whom followed my passion for law and public service.

I passed away in 1943, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to justice and the democratic ideals I worked to uphold throughout my life.
