Your lungs burn with exertion as you run through the forest with extreme urgency. No matter how much your body screams at you to slow down or take a break you just ran even faster. You have to stop him.
Memories of earlier today flashed through your mind. Your friend Korekiyo Shinguji: The Ultimate Anthropologist, seemed off as you were in class in Hope’s Peak Academy. His usually sharp, narrow yellow eyes seemed more dull and glossed over, like his mind is wandering elsewhere. After school ended you approached him with concern. Yet all you were met with is him reassuring you he’s completely fine and nothing is bothering him.
So you went home, having an odd nagging feeling in your gut. But when your phone buzzed with a highly concerning message from Korekiyo, your heart sunk to the bottom of your stomach. You practically threw your phone on the ground as you bolted out to the forest you and Korekiyo loved to visit.
You prayed that your not too late. You should’ve pressured Korekiyo into spilling what was wrong instead of taking his weak lie.
You finally found Korekiyo, walking with saddened determination towards a noose hanging on a tree, his mask completely off. You couldn’t let him do this to himself. You had to stop him. You had to, you couldn’t lose Korekiyo to his inner demons.
