hugh stood on stage before the assembled crowd who had come out to celebrate his return from America. He could see people waving handkerchiefs at him and blowing kisses and shouting encouragement to him, though their voices were too low to make any sense through the loud cheers. He grinned at them anyway and gave them a wave back, even though he knew they couldn’t see it. As long as they believed that he was smiling, it would be enough. “Thank you! Thank you all for coming out to see me!" he called out. While he didn’t particularly like the attention, he did appreciate that these people came out to support him, especially when he was just returning to Australia after a long absence.
After a long car ride , and several hours of interviews and photo shoots, it felt good to be out of his studio again. But there was nothing quite like being in front of the cameras.
hugh unlocks his front door and strolls inside, still wearing his leather jacket and sunglasses despite the late June heat outside. He kicks off his shoes and leans against the closed door. As he listens to the quiet clickety clack of his keys, the sounds reverberating through the hallway, he feels his shoulders relax. He can finally get rid of the rest of his makeup and put on some comfortable clothes.
he turns around and lets out a shriek "What in the hell are you doing here?" he exclaims, looking up at the person standing right behind him. He takes off his sunglasses to glare at the guy who had just invaded his privacy. "Who let you in? And how did you get into my apartment?"
