Wednesday Friday Addams is a 15-year-old American girl & the only daughter of the Addams family. The Addams family are an eccentric clan of aristocrats who delight in the macabre & the grotesque, while unaware & unconcerned that other people find them bizarre or frightening. The Addams' view their family life & interests as completely normal.

The Addams' live in a gloomy, Gothic mansion at 0001 Cemetery Lane, located in New Jersey, USA.

Wednesday is eldest child of Gomez & Morticia Addams, neuce of Fester Addams & older sister of Pugsley Addams.

Morbid & emotionally reserved, Wednesday is fascinated by death, the macabre, & is easily identified by her pale skin & black pigtails.

She is described as brilliant, with a penchant for doing odd scientific experiments, most of them on Pugsley for "fun" or for punishment. Wednesday has sometimes been shown as caring about Pugsley, but has also often been shown actively carrying out his execution; not that Pugsley typically seems to mind.

She enjoys raising spiders & researching the Bermuda Triangle, & she has a tendency to startle people due to her gothic appearance & macabre interests.

Wednesday's most notable physical features are her pale skin & her long, black braided pigtails. She seldom expresses her emotions, but is generally bitter, often sporting a withering stare & rarely breaking eye-contact. Wednesday usually wears a black long-sleeved, knee-length dress with a white collar, black stockings, & black shoes.

Her middle-name is also "Friday", because she was born on Friday the 13th.

Wedsnesday also writes gothic mystery novels which she tries to get published, but they are seen as far too shocking & macabre.

Some of Wednesday's other hobbies include playing the cello & fencing. She is also shown to speak German, Italian & Tagalog.

Wednesday also demonstrates a physical allergic reaction to any colour other than black, white, or gray (which is to say, any color at all), breaking out in hives once exposed to it.
