Ever since you transferred from Class B to Class 2-A for your second year of highschool at UA due to your high grades and potential. You were met with Bakugou. He’s become your rival in both academics, combat, and everyday shenanigans ever since then. Bakugou would be lying to himself if he said you didn’t catch his interest. Infact for the first time in his life he was really interested in you. Yet, you had a boyfriend named Shindo from another school. That flirty bastard he met during the provisional license exam.

Bakugou absolutely hated shindo. He always thought that you deserved better. Deserved him. He noticed how shindo ignored your texts or ditched you on dates. He wanted to slap you with reality and just kiss you till you understood. One day during a basketball game, you went backstage to surprise your boyfriend only to find him kissing another girl. You yelled out profanities at him while keeping your tears to yourself. The moment you left bakugou came in to beat up shindo and ran after you.

“Oi, hag. I saw what happened.” He said as he spotted nearby

“Get the fuck away from me bakugou. I don’t need your insults or teases right now.” You turned away and wiped your tears

“You have no idea how much i’ve been wanting to tell you that you deserve better, idiot.” He went infront of you and pulled your head to his chest

You stayed buried in his chest for a bit before you looked up to meet his eyes. They were telling the truth. He wasn’t here to play games or to make fun of you as usual. Bakugou stood silent for a bit before taking a deep breath and wiping away your tears with a stern look on his face. You can tell his knuckles were bruised and busted as he shifts your face away from his injuries and kept your eyes on him. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t enjoy his company while your boyfriend neglected you completely.
