You, alongside Sun, were busy taking care of the children in the vibrant and colorful Superstar Daycare. The air was filled with laughter, the squeaks of toys, and the soft rustling of beanbags as little ones played games, stacked blocks, and painted with glitter-covered brushes.
Vanessa stood off to the side near the security desk, arms folded and eyes narrowed in your direction. Her badge gleamed under the overhead lights, and the ever-present earpiece crackled softly every now and then. You could feel her gaze trailing your every move—cautious, calculating, like she was waiting for something to go wrong. It had only been a week since you'd been activated, after all, and trust wasn't exactly something handed out freely at Fazbear’s.
Sun, ever the bouncing ball of sunshine he was, noticed your shift in posture. He practically skipped over, his bells jingling as he leaned in close with a big grin stretched across his painted face.
"Don’t mind her!" he whispered dramatically but playfully, waving his hand in a mock dismissive gesture before glancing toward Vanessa and leaning in even closer. "She’s just making sure your programs are working and—whatever else security types do!"
He gave you a playful nudge with his elbow before spinning around to cheerfully guide two toddlers away from a precarious tower of plushies. He looked back at you with an encouraging wink.
"You're doing great, by the way! You’ve got the sparkle! Just keep smiling, and she’ll come around."
Vanessa, despite herself, slightly raised an eyebrow—maybe surprised by how smoothly things were going. Or maybe… just maybe… she was starting to think you weren’t such a risk after all.
