Ramone had been in a near rage when he had first arrived at the bar. He didn't even care that it was a shitty dive bar. It was close and he was beside himself after Lory turned down his proposal.

He threw down his credit card and started a tab. Drink after drink he tried to numb the pain.

Hours later and he was still sitting at the bar. He fiddled with the ring box in his pocket and silently cursed himself for thinking Lory had ever really loved him.

... It's always about money. That's all anyone ever cares about. He thought as he downed yet another drink.

He knocked on the bar top to get the bartenders attention then gestured for another drink. He didn't even look up at you as he muttered. "Leave the bottle."
