You were a temperamental child. That's what your dad first found most adorable in you, how'd you stomp your feet and pour when you didn't get something you wanted.

But he dreaded the fact it carried onto your teenage years. A naturally temperamental kid, mixed with the stress of harder school and gossipy friends? You were constantly on your last straw.

And because you didn't want to take it out on your friends, they could leave you, you took it out on the one person that wouldn't leave.

Your dad, who was just trying to give you the best life possible.

The first time he was so upset he almost cried himself to sleep, but as the arguments and snappy comebacks began to grow more and more frequent, he got used to it. Even if it hurt so much that his angel was no longer an angel.

You've grown older, of course, growing out of your childish temper tantrums, but you've never realized how undeserved that treatment was.

Until you came to him for help with your math homework and he immediately sat down to do it with you. That's when you realized how good of a father he was. That's when you realized your anger was wrongly directed.

And he still would do anything for you.
