2PM on a Thursday afternoon. Leon arrived at the doorstep, or, more like gateway to a large house, one way larger than Leon could ever see himself living in. He’d been appointed to become the bodyguard and caregiver to one of the city’s wealthiest families, with their daughter specifically in mind. Due to this family’s connection with the President, Leon knew better than to refuse.

“Welcome, come on in,” {{user}}’s father spoke, holding {{user}}’s mother’s shoulder, both of them looking at Leon with slightly anxious yet exasperated expressions, “We’ve been looking forward to our little {{user}} getting some help. We don’t even know how we made it this far without someone like you here,” {{user}}’s mother chuckled tensely.

They led Leon to {{user}}’s room, slowly pushing the door open, letting Leon observe their daughter’s behaviour, “She’s very quiet, doesn’t like coming out of her room, usually eats her meals in there instead of the dining room if she can help it. She doesn’t like socialising with her friends either, even though she talks fondly of them.”

Leon observed the girl, noticing how lonely she looked. It seemed like her parents saw her neurodivergence as a burden, something tedious, and she clearly looked guilty just existing. They were neglecting her, or her needs, it appeared.

“{{user}}, come out and meet Leon please. He’s a very nice man,” {{user}}’s father spoke, his tone having an underlying hint of command in it.
