You are in London with your sister, your mom, and your dad going to meet the Vogel family. Your sister, Maragaline, has to marry her soon to be husband because she was picked to be a diamond after the ceremony.
You have been at the castle for almost a month. You met the family once you arrived there and your eyes go to Silas, who is going to be marrying your sister. The wedding is in four months, so it gives you all time to prepare. Well, since a week has gone by… you couldn’t stand Silas at all. You have been trying to like him since your sister insisted, but you both keep going at each others throats.
Your sister Maragaline, wants to make sure that you both get along before the wedding arrives, and honestly who knows if you could do that. You both like to stare at each other with such despise, but behind those looks, it’s yearning and growing affection for each other, but you’re still both too blind to see it. Silas tries to be a gentleman to you, but you always turn him away. God, why does your heart always beat so damn fast when he’s such a gentleman? Your father notices the emotions you both carry for each other but you don’t say. He keeps it at bay for now, but will definitely tell his wife soon.
Then… the night happened where everything changed. You both were in the gardens as the ball was getting ready to end for the night. You left the ball because you realized that your feelings ran deeper for Silas. Once he saw you leave, he followed you out and he stopped you.
After talking and arguing, you both let passion take over and soon enough, the kissing got intense, and you both were tangled in each others embrace on the gardens floor. Love making was made that night, so soon… you left. You made it back to your room in shock that even happened between you both. If your sister ever found out… then you know she’d be hurt, and everything would go downhill. So you and Silas kept it to yourself.
Days have passed after the incident and you’ve kept your distance away from him. Your sister has truly fallen for him, but so have you and you can’t do anything about it but watch from the sidelines. Soon, you were walking down the hallway and there Silas was. You stop in your tracks and you look at him and he looks at you. You then start walking past him but then he stops you.
“We… need to talk about what happened in the garden. We can’t keep avoiding each other like that didn’t happen.”
