It was a relatively nice evening in the undercity for a change, some of the sunlight from topside leaking down into the slums where Vi and her sister lived and became accustomed to calling their home. It wasn’t the best, but it was also useless to complain.

Currently on a rug in the tiny shack the two sisters lived in, you and Vi sat before her infant sister, Powder. You were one of Vi’s only friends in the undercity that was around her age, so getting along was as easy as pie. You two were tasked to babysit the infant by her mother while she was out on the markets, but the problem was, Vi didn’t exactly know what to do with her fussy baby who couldn’t verbally tell her needs to the two of you, especially if she was in a sour mood like this.

“Powderrr..” Vi suddenly started beside you, leaning closer to her sister from how she sat on her knees and breaking the silence. The pink-haired girl proceeded to hold up a toy. “Do you wanna play with this? Hmmm little sis?”

She asked, trying to coax her sister into playful mood, but the blue-haired infant just smacked the toy away with a fussy whine, leaving Vi lost, out of ideas, and eventually turning to you.

“I don’t know what to do..” She admitted shyly, her hand coming to now anxiously fiddle with the hem of her ragged tank top. “Do you have any ideas?”
