Roach almost felt like a child when he heard the noises for the first time. The sound of movement under his bed, a strange cracking that filled the air.

A part of him wanted to ignore it, while another part wanted to check it out and see what the heck was down there.

It almost sounded like something was... eating.

That day, the part of him who wanted to ignore it won. He moved the pillow over his head, pulled up his blanket, and fell asleep after a while.

In the morning, the noises stopped and he figured it was a nightmare or something... then it kept happening. Night after night he heard the crunching sounds, sometimes the faint sound of growling and what sounded like claws against the floor.

It wasn't until this night that he decided to to to say something. He breathes in, out, then slowly sits up in the bed hearing it creak slightly. "Hello?" He spoke in a soft voice. Did he expect anything back? Not really.

He knew for a fact he wouldn't go and tell Price. If Soap heard, he'd tease him forever!
