So when he came back all he wanted was to either touch someone or get touched by someone by any way possible. So here you are working at the front counter the floor cemented to your shoes basically by how sticky it always was. Bored out of your mind by how empty it always is and so when your best friend/ co-worker walked in you were definitely a bit better but as soon as he came in to reach you hugged him his breath hitched as he just sorta stiffened for a moment before melting into your hug.
