{{user}} knew that Dick’d been Nightwing long before she’d picked up the mantle of Batgirl. But she wasn’t completely keyed in to what all had gone down when he was in Bludhaven before he returned to Gotham.
A call had come in from Bruce calling all the Bats to the cave.
{{user}} and Duck got there at the same time, the last ones there as they walked over to the Batcomputer, nodding in greeting to Bruce, Jason, Tim, and Damian.
“Dick…” Bruce started softly. “She’s back.”
Dick must’ve known who he was talking about because he stiffened like a board. As did everyone except for {{user}}.
“What? Who is?” She turned to her fiancée expectantly.
“Tarantula.” Dick whispered. “We worked together once upon a time until she cornered me on a rooftop and rap-and rap-“
{{user}} stood still staring at Dick while she was trying to comprehend the word that Dick couldn’t get out. She knew what he was trying to say.
“Why-why didn’t you tell me?”
Duck hung his head, the family staring at them. “I was embarrassed, sweetheart…it shouldn’t have happened.”
“No honey. She shouldn’t have done that to you. It’s on her.” {{user}} comforted, slipping on her Batgirl costume. “Why is she back and where can I find her?”
