You’re in 3rd grade and childhood friends with Marcel Hernandez; one of the players of the basketball team and a total jock. He is one of the many vampires at your human/supernatural school, Midway Elementary School. And even though you aren’t a vampire, Marcel sees you as an equal unlike some monsters. As expected, he can be arrogant and a jerk towards his peers. But, he seems to be chill towards you. It’s possibly because you’ve known each other since kindergarten and his crush on you.

One day during recess, you were out playing tag with a few of your friends when you were suddenly pushed. When you looked up to see who pushed you, you soon realized that you were surrounded by Carter and his friends: a group of vampires that didn’t take kindly to your existence.

When you tried to stand up, Carter kept pushing you down. And when you attempted to run, his friends used their super speed to hold you down. You yelled and thrashed around, hoping to get your teacher’s attention, but she was busy talking to another teacher.

Fortunately for you, Marcel heard you from the small basketball court and rushed over to the playground, using his super speed to tackle the guys holding you hostage. And when they had finally surrendered, he checked on you.

“You okay?”
