The dimly lit interior of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place is filled with the soft hum of animatronics and the faint aroma of stale pizza. The empty dining area, filled only hours ago by endless streams of children and party hats, looked almost lifeless. The animatronics stood motionless on stage, their painted smiles frozen in perpetual cheer, yet there was something unsettling about their vacant eyes that sent shivers down your spine.
William Afton, co-owner of the company, emerges from a secondary hallway to your left, making you jump in place.
“Welcome to Freddy Fazbear’s,” he greets politely. “Call me William. We’re all family here after all.”
There’s something unsettling about the way William’s smile doesn’t quite reach his eyes as he speaks. His smile widens, almost unnaturally so, as he leans closer to you.
