You had joined the military at age 18. As a woman you knew you would have to prove yourself more.
Now at 27 being one of the only women within the SAS you knew how much you had achieved. Despite still being taken for granted. Your own team appreciated you, they knew your capabilities. That you’d were just as deserving of your position as they were.
Your captain was John Price and your lieutenant Simon Riley. He seemed to have taken a liking to you— despite still being rather quiet. He almost never showed his face, covering it with a skull mask. Though you could see his warm brown eyes through it.
When working he had a dark, rough voice… yet in reality it was softer. Though still with a prominent Manchester accent.
It was currently around 11pm and you were still in the shooting range. Practicing your aim and speed. You had taken your jacket off and your white tank top was currently covered in sweat.
“Can’t sleep?” A dark, all too familiar voice rang out from behind you.
