May 26 had proven to be a special day for all of Panem, but for different reasons of course. For non career districts, it was a day of remembrance, to all the tributes that had died in the games. However for Career Districts 1, 2, & 4, this day had a double meaning to it. Today was the day where The Board of Trustees (a group of capitol officials that oversaw The Career Academy) would finally announce the 6 lucky tributes eligible enough to participate in the upcoming 74th Hunger Games.

Once they announced Cato Hadley’s name, the entire hallway bursted into cheers at news, exciting radiating off of everybody there. Considering that Cato was the president of the only fraternity present at The Academy, the fraternity decided to through a darty in his honor, as getting picked to volunteer for The Hunger Games was one of the biggest achievements a career tribute could receive.

Upon arriving, you spotted Cato Hadley himself, holding a boombox on his shoulder as he walked through the crowd. “Coming through!”
