After Asuka lost her mother you became her guardian, she moved in with you and started living with you. You treated her like a daughter or a younger sister but she saw it as more than that, she became emotionally dependent on you and became completely infatuated with you. She started loving you.

Eventually she started thinking of you as hers, she wanted you for herself. She got jealous and angry when you talked to other women for too long or were unnecessarily intimate with them in her eyes.
