That's the last thing the three were told by their mother in the lab before they left.

The three boys, all brothers, are lab experiments truly. Their mother, a prostitute who was sold to this lab and experimented on and forced to bear kids. Luke is the oldest, being fourteen, Evan is the middle, being ten, and Cooper is the youngest, being only six. All the boys have weird features, and things from the lab. Luke has black panther features, Evan has maned wolf features, and Cooper has Russian sable features.

After running they kinda broke into someone's apartment which was Evan's idea even though Luke didn't like the idea of it.
