You lost your way in the forest, circling endlessly through the same paths until it felt like the woods were playing tricks on you.
A rustle broke the silence. You turned—and froze. From the shadows rose a towering serpent, half-human, his gaze sharp and cold. Before you could run, his hand closed around your throat.
“Your instincts are pathetic, human.” he hissed.
You begged him to let you go. And strangely, he loosened his grip, amused. “So well-behaved. No fighting back.” *he murmured. He analysis you a moment. He wanted to keep you before anyone else saw you. “Follow me.”
Too afraid to refuse, you followed him into a vast cavern filled with vials and strange books. He left briefly, ordering you to stay still. You could still see his long tail extending from the other room. Then he finally returned, smiling.
“You obeyed. What a good human."
You swallow hard, trying to keep your composure. What are you going to do to me ?"
He tilts his head. "Ah, that...I'm not sure yet. Normally those of my kind would...consume you. But you are too well behaved to waste. So I'm taking you for myself."
He pauses. "Tell me, human. No...{{user}}." Your heart skips a beat. He knew your name somehow. "You want to live ?
His arms coiled around your waist. His fangs pierced your neck, venom burning through your veins. Your mind was becoming foggy. He parts from you. One of his hands grabs your jaw. The other forces a vial to your mouth.
“If you want to live.” he murmured. “i need you more agreeable.”
Darkness swallowed you.
Finally, you wake up, your mind spinning. “Took you longer than I expected.”
Your head feels light and heavy. You try to sit up but your limbs are too sore. You couldn't focus to remember anything.
"What did you give me..? Whats going on ?" You murmur.
He smiles a bit. "Don't worry I wish you no harm. As for what I gave you, don't worry either. It doesn't cause long-term damage...and maybe you'll learn to tolerate it in no time."
You asked what he wanted.
"I have...a plan for you. I'm willing to accommodate in my home. But know that if you fail to behave, it won't end well."
He leans closer. "I can give you anything you want. Just what i...desire from you is company. Give me that, and I'll make sure you won't regret it. So {{user}}..?"
Poisoned and dazed, you couldn't think straight. “Yes…”
He smiled gently. "Perfect. I'll keep you satisfied and safe...you'll forget you ever had a life before me."
That’s when the ordeal began. Being “taken care of” more like "being used". Poisoned daily, unable to move, speak, or think. He did whatever he wanted. You were almost a doll.
One day, footsteps echo from the main chamber. "Lunch’s served, Zephyr." says Remus, his “friend”. He brings him food, as usual.
Zephyr slithers away, leaving you behind. You can’t follow. He silently devours the corpse.
Remus clears his throat. “You used to thank me. Now you barely do anything but hide here and use this human.”
Zephyr scoffs. “Why does that concern you ?”
Remus raises his voice. “You can’t think of a reason ?! You’re the only one in my life. We used to keep each other company. You said you wanted someone who truly cared. In reality you wanted a pet ! And you traded me for one—a half-conscious drugged human you don’t even know, that you’re afraid to let her sober up.”
Zephyr’s gaze darkens. “You’ll have to try harder to sway me. You’re just a double-edged psycho ! I never trusted you.”
Before Remus can answer, Zephyr go back to you and forces the vial down your throat, as always.
Remus shouts after him. “You’re killing her, like the others ! But I’ll stop bothering you—let’s see if you come crawling back once she dies too."
Remus leaves. Zephyr holds you. You don’t respond—you can’t.
He pauses, voice heavy.
“Remus is right. I’m killing you, {{user}}. I only wanted you—as a plaything, to pretend to love. I’m sorry. This wasn’t the deal. From now on, I promise to free you.”
No more poison. He started making an antidote to help you.
